Archival pigment print from digital scan

Description from the artist reads: "Cutaway section of the tent. The floor was built of rough cut lumber, raised off the floor, especially the areas in front of the beds, was covered with rugs. The front left hand corner was blocked off with a piece of fabric and used for storage of things seldom used. The Japanese lanterns were added just for their color. The hand cranked Victrola was purchased for seventy-five cents at an auction, the large table used for a desk for two dollars, the beds at a dollar and seventy five cents each. We bought two three-quarter length beds, in that we like plenty of room for sleeping. The case that the tent came in was used as a seat at the desk. Behind the clothing unit we constructed a small rack for hanging clothes."
