A rectangular ceramic bottle, unglazed on the top fourth and glazed on the bottom three-fourths with a shiny deep reddish-brown finish; the narrow side of the bottle is incised with nine deep grooves with three of these grooves continuing around to the wide side of the bottle. Painterly, abstract organic imagery is both painted and carved into the sides of the bottle.
