New Bauhaus prospectus


Original prospectus for the New Bauhaus, American School of Design opened in 1937 in Chicago by László Moholy-Nagy. Modeled after the workshop curriculum of the original German Bauhaus, the school closed after one ear when funding dried up. The school reopened in early 1939 as the School of Design and in 1944 was renamed the Institute of Design. Early faculty included several Bauhaus refugees. Brochure designed by László Moholy-Nagy.
