The Fickery Art and Crafts adverstisement
Black Mountain College alumni Cynthia Homire and Jorge Fick owned and operated the The Fickery, studio and storefront in Santa Fe from 1972-1983. They sold functional stoneware made by Cynthia and glazed by Jorge.

"The Fickery Arts and Crafts. Hello Everybody, We know that what Canyon Road really needs is another shop. So, being community minded and conscientious, we have fulfilled this need! We are now open! The Fickery at 720 Canyon Road. Flameproof pots, kitchen items, quilts, paintings, magic boxes, beads, colonial aprons, etcetera. Cynthia K. Homire- pottery - Jorge Fick - pottery and most of the rest of it.
