Thick, black, linear and angular marks characterize this abstract composition. Black squares, rectangles, and lines overlap and interacte with gray squares which range in size and approach to rendering; some gray squares are lighter in value and less opaque, while others aew darker and rendered with more intense, scratching marks. The white of the background works to create more square shapes in the negative spaces created by the overlapping of black and gray lines and shapes.
