Diana Woelffer

Diana Woelffer came to BMC with her husband Emerson Woelffer, who had been invited by Buckminster Fuller to teach painting during the summer of 1949.
Diana had attended the Institute of Design in Chicago from 1946–1948. There she studied photography with Ferenc Berko, Harry Callahan, Wayne Miller, and Arthur Siegel. During the Summer of 1949 she assisted Hazel Larsen Archer with her photography classes. Her photographs were published in American Annual of Photography, the Summer 1954 issue of The Black Mountain Review, and Charles Olson’s book The Mayan Letters.
